ICC T20 Men’s Player Ranking: Babar Azam Climbs to 3rd Spot

Pakistani skipper Babar Azam has been ranked one spot more in the International Cricket Council ICC T20 Men’s player ranking, other hand Babar’s opening partner Mohammad Rizwan will remain same position (2nd) as per the Latest update. According to source both player will continue match opening pair.

A T20 cricket series of 5 matches will begin on 14 April at Lahore between Pakistan and New Zealand. Babar And Rizwan have an opportunity to getting top position in T20 ranking, because no. 1 Player T20 suryakumar Yadav is currently playing India Premier league (IPL).

According to the ICC ranking, Babar moved up to third in the latest rankings, and will have another opportunity to cut the gap on Suryakumar when Pakistan’s five-game T20I series against New Zealand begins on Saturday. Although Suryakumar now leads the T20I batters rankings with a commanding lead of 906 rating points, second-placed Rizwan (811) and third-placed Babar (755) may advance while the India star competes in the IPL.

Devon Conway was absent from New Zealand’s and Sri Lanka’s series, and Babar rose one position to third in the most current ICC T20 Men’s player ranking. The Kiwi hitter also plays for the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Shadab Khan, Pakistan’s highest-ranked T20I bowler, is not among the top ten bowlers in the ICC rankings. Shadab, who finished fourth, is Pakistan’s sole player in the top ten ICC T20 men’s all-rounder rankings.
